What is a Preview Text in DirectLync?

Preview text is a snippet of copy pulled in from the body of your email and typically displayed underneath the send name and subject line in a subscriber’s inbox. Preview text serves as an additional “preview” of the content within the email. 

 

Where can I add a preview text for an email campaign?

To add the preview text in Email Campaigns and A/B Testing, follow these steps:

1. Head to the Email Marketing module.
2. Click on the + next to Campaigns.
3. Select Email Campaign or A/B Test.
4. Enter the campaign information and click Save & Next.
5. Preview text can be entered on the Sender Details Tab. Here you can enter the preview text that will appear under the subject of the email.
6. Select Save.

To add the preview text in Time Based follow these steps: 

1. Head to the Email Marketing module.
2. Click on the + next to Campaigns.
3. Select Time Based or Drip Campaigns.
4. Enter the campaign information and click Save & Next.
5. Preview Text can be entered on the General Info Tab of the campaign. Here you can enter the preview text that will appear under the subject of the email.
6. Select Save.

 

What is the character limit for the preview text?

The character count is 128 characters.
