How do I add a Contact Profile Image?

A Contact Profile Image is an image that corresponds with your contact’s name for easy recognition. In DirectLync, you can easily upload an image for your contacts in a few simple steps. Follow the steps listed below.

  1. Head to the CRM/Contact module.
  2. Select Contacts on the top navigation of your module.
  3. Select a contact you want to add a Profile Image to.
  4. When their contact card opens, hover over the circle next to their name.
  5. Edit Icon will appear, click it.
  6. Choose Upload Image.
  7. A box to Upload Contact Profile Image will appear. Here you can upload an image.
  8. Select Choose Image.
  9. Choose your image and create a File Name.
  10. Select Upload.
  11. The image can be resized or adjusted to fit in the window.

What are the letters in the Contact Image circle?

The image will default to a circle with the contact's First and Last Initial. If a contact does not have a name but has an email address, the first letter of the email address will be used as a placeholder in the circle.

How do I remove a Contact Profile image?

  1. In the Contact Card, hover over the image circle.
  2. Edit Icon will appear, click it.
  3. Here you have the choice to upload a new image or delete the image.
  4. If you choose to delete, you will be asked to confirm you want to delete it.
  5. The pop up will ask, "Are you sure you want to delete this Image?" If you select Delete, it will disappear. If you choose to cancel, it will close the pop-up.

Are there any size restrictions on the Contact Profile Image?

The file size is 10mb, but you can add a large image, as long as it is below the file size.
