How do I shorten a link in a social post?
 

Using a link shortener, does exactly what it sounds like - It shortens your URL. It’s a good idea to use this when posting on social media as it is more aesthetically pleasing, as well as saves you on your valuable character count. In order to do this on DirectLync, you will need to:
 

1. In the social media module, open a new social post box in the top right corner.
2. Once you have selected your channel(s) you want to post to, simply paste your URL in the text box.
3. Once the link is pasted, press the spacebar < click “shorten link(s)”
